FOUR SEASONS OF LIFE

“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest,

and cold and heat, Summer and Winter,

and day and night shall not cease.”

Gen. 8:22

As you read, study and Live, you learn the many different views on "the four Seasons of Life". Yes, some in which can get pretty "DEEP".  People of God, today we have time, nor do I have the inclination of going deep. I'm all for just keep it simple. The most common is the nature version where there is a season of new growth and rebirth Spring, a season of maturing Summer, a season of Harvest and reaping which is the Fall and a season of rest, where in many areas the world, doing the Winter, Rest is about all you can do successfully.

People of God, I know it is true, there are times we feel our season has passed us by, we feel "stuck inside of Stuck", We cry out; God where are You!?! This very well may be your season of "holding," a Season of "Waiting," Some may even call it a Season of "Hiding". Truthfully, I can confess, it is a season you rather NOT Be In. This is truly Your Season to PRAY...

There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven—

“To everything, there is a Season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3

THIS IS THE SEASON TO PRAY

WHAT SEASON ARE YOU IN?

As we know there are four Seasons in the natural life we live; as is in the natural, it is also in the Spirit realm of lifeThe one most important thing to note regarding seasons is this: "Seasons Come and They Go". The seasons of life, have a way of dictating our moods, our body's functions, even how we eat and sleep. Have you ever noticed; you may crave certain foods at a certain time of the year? You may put on a couple (or a few) extra pounds in the winter months. There is a reason the creator, created seasons. Seasons are vital to who we are, to the productivity of life and how we function in life. If we pay attention, it will key us in on what clothing to wear, what foods to eat, what foods to plant and even how to use our physical energy for that particular season.

In some areas of the world, we may not experience the Season Change; as in other parts of the world, yet the seasons are still in effect just the same. I was born on the West Coast and later moved to the East Coast.  Although California is known as "Sunny California", there are still 4 Seasons.  my oldest Son now lives in Hawaii, where it is basically beautifully warm, all year long.  although this true, Hawaii still acknowledges the seasons of the year as, Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. The Seasons are important to understand, both naturally and spiritually.

This Is Your SEASON TO PRAY

We often quote, " I Will never Leave thee, nor forsake thee" Hebrew 13:3b.   BUT What happens when we LEAVE God in the midst of a Season Change. As with nature, We will experience the four different seasons in our walk with God.  Unlike Beautiful Hawaii and other parts of the globe, each season will have its own benefits and challenges. Today's question is, "What Season are you In"? God has them in and perhaps why. is vital for you to understand.  knowing that answer will help you to stand still and help another identify which season is in at all times that just got too hard, too confusing, too slow, or we just wanted to be in another season? order to fully experience God’s peace throughout the many storms of life, We the People of God must learn to discern, accept, and appreciate the Seasons of God. God accomplishes his will in each individual’s life in his own perfect time, during a particular Season of their life.  When we can discern what Season of life we are in, we are less likely to become frustrated and pull away from the hand of God.

Winter:

Nature: Winter is marked as a long and dreary season. It is a time of heart growth (inner growth) in trees and plants.

Spirit: This represents a time of introspection and the examination of our hearts and motives. A time of allowing God to make changes in us. A time for strengthening up and maturing.

Spring:

Nature: Spring is marked as a time of cleansing and restoration from the difficult days of winter. Soil rotates; Refreshing rains. A time of transition. A time of pruning and re-growth.

Spirit: Represents a time of joy and glory after dormancy and hardships. A time of pruning: This is a time when God shapes and molds his people.

Summer:

Nature: Summer is marked as a time of extreme dryness and heat. Marked by a need for more water than usual to sustain strength and life. Top of the ground cracks from heat.

Spirit: Represents a time of spiritual dryness. A time of needing more spiritual food than usual to stay replenished. True Christians come out of this season stronger. Others may stumble, sometimes permanently in this stage.

Fall:

Nature:  Fall is marked as a time of harvest. A time of pruning in preparation for winter. Leaves fall from trees; a time of transition.

Spirit:  Represents a time of harvest when the Christian bears their fruits. More correction and shaping from God is required to prepare the individual for the long winter season.

CONCLUSION:

in every Season, it is a SEASON TO PRAY

Allow the season that you are in right now to run its full course. .  Do not attempt to change the season you are in. Just as the day is balanced out by the night, the seasons that you must walk through are designed by God to keep your life balanced.
